Privacy Policy
1. Information we collect
When you create a Cascade account, we collect your email address, organization name, and billing contact details. When you configure monitors, we store the target URLs/hosts you ask us to check, along with the check results (response time, status code, timestamps) we generate while monitoring them.
We do not collect information about the traffic your monitored services handle, only the metadata of our own synthetic checks against them.
2. How we use it
- To operate the monitoring checks you configure and deliver alerts through your chosen channels (email, SMS, Slack, PagerDuty, webhooks)
- To generate uptime and latency reports and populate your status pages
- To process payments through our billing provider
- To respond to support requests
3. Data retention
Check history is retained according to your plan's history window (3, 90, or 365 days). Account and billing records are retained for as long as your account is active, plus the period required by applicable tax law after closure.
4. Third-party processors
We share data with a small number of subprocessors strictly to operate the service: our cloud infrastructure provider, our email/SMS delivery providers, and our payment processor. A full list is available on request at the contact below.
5. Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and a small number of first-party analytics cookies to understand feature usage. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
6. Your rights
You may request a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and associated data. Requests are handled within 30 days.
